The Captain and Owner, Glenn McCormick, first sailed in San Francisco Bay while in high school. Hooked by the sea, he graduated from the US Naval Academy, and went on to fly Navy fighter aircraft for 16 years. Translating that skill to the private sector, he also flew for American Airlines for 16 years, retiring early in 2007 to devote his time to Mistress, and to the rebuilding of a 1948 Trumpy power yacht in Key West. A licensed Captain, he is available for deliveries as Captain or crew.
